Welcome to our brand new website to launch the Tour of Pembrokeshire 2008.
The organisers have completed implementing the infrastructure to ensure a
successful event. All that is now left is the “dotting of the i’s and the
crossing of the t’s”. The event was previewed in October 2007. Please see the
third party comments in our News Update page. The “Classic Ride” article in the
February 2008 edition of Cycling Plus also makes impressive reading
The 116 mile route is a challenging route and riders should remember to pace
themselves and not think that the day's work is done once over the Preseli
mountain summit . We offer a choice of two rides - firstly a 116 mile route with
in excess of 10,500 ft of climbing and secondly a less challenging 64 mile
route. Route distance and altitude measurements are in accordance with

each route. The route predominantly hugs the Pembrokeshire coastline providing
scenery which is truly outstanding.

the route.
Finally, the organisers would very much like to raise funds for WALES AIR
AMBULANCE as a bi-product of the event. Sponsorship is not mandatory, but any
funds raised will be gratefully received. So go on, pester a few of your mates.
We are sure that all concerned will take great satisfaction in donating to this
very worthwhile organisation. None of us know when their service might be
required for us and our families. Hopefully never. Please refer to Fundraising
for further information.
