We are delighted to announce that Mel Nicholls, who has competed for Team GB since 2012 has been appointed as The Voice of The Tour. Mel is well used to being interviewed and is looking forward to being on the other side of the mic as she travels around this year’s routes meeting riders, supporters and marshals. She said, “Pembrokeshire shared its magic with me when I spent some time on the wild coast, exploring its bays and beaches by foot and kayak and its lanes by bike. It is a very special part of Britain and Wales and as a GB Paralympic cyclist, training for Tokyo 2020 and adventure lover, it is one of my favourite cycling areas to train in. Its breathtaking scenery, challenging yet exhilarating bike terrain and wonderful people, make Pembrokeshire the perfect place for bringing cyclists together. I am very excited to be a part this years Tour of Pembrokeshire as ‘The Voice of the Tour,’ getting amongst the riders and people who make this event so special, hearing their stories, their reasons to ride and capturing the essence of the event and what it brings.”
